Privacy Policy

TruckLedger is a tool for logging your own trucking income and expenses. This page explains, in plain terms, what the app stores and what it does not.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address, or your phone number if you sign in that way, plus the name you enter. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never see or store the password itself.
• The entries you create. Loads, gross amounts, expenses and their categories, miles, gallons, odometer readings, and any notes you type.
• Receipt photos. Only images you choose to attach to an entry.
• Your settings. Language, work type, dispatch rate, pay percentage, currency and unit preferences.

What we do not collect

• No location or GPS tracking.
• No advertising identifiers, ad networks, or third-party trackers.
• No analytics scripts. The pages on this site load no third-party code at all — fonts and libraries are served from our own domain.
• No payment card details.
• No contacts, photos library, or files beyond the receipt images you attach yourself.

Where your data is stored

Account information and your entries are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, which acts as our data processor. Data is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access is restricted to your own account: entries you create are visible to you when you sign in, and are not shown to other users.

Some data is also kept in your browser's local storage and offline cache so the app can open and work without a signal.

How your data is used

Only to run the app for you: to show your weeks, calculate your net pay, cost per mile and year-to-date totals, and to sign you in. We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We do not use your entries to build profiles or to train models.

Email we send

Transactional messages only — confirming your email address, resetting your password, or sending a sign-in code. No marketing email unless you separately ask for it.

Keeping and deleting data

Your entries stay in your account until you delete them or ask us to delete the account. To have your account and all associated data removed, email support@truckledger.club from the address on the account. We will action the request and confirm when it is done.

Clearing your browser data or removing the app from your home screen only clears the offline copy on that device; it does not delete the account.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. The tax screen also lets you export your entries to CSV at any time, without asking us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the CCPA — write to the address above and we will honour them.

Children

TruckLedger is intended for working commercial drivers and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app.
