Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 August 2026
By creating an account or using TruckLedger, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What TruckLedger is
TruckLedger is a record-keeping tool. It stores the figures you enter and performs arithmetic on them — totals, cost per mile, averages, percentages. It is not an accountant, a tax preparer, a bookkeeper, or a financial adviser.
Not tax or financial advice
Nothing in the app or on this site is tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. Deductibility rules, per-diem treatment and filing obligations depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction. Check your figures with a qualified professional before filing anything or making a financial decision.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Use a real email address you control — password resets and sign-in codes go there. Tell us promptly at support@truckledger.club if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Your data is yours
You keep ownership of everything you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, process it and show it back to you. You can export your entries to CSV at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data — see the Privacy Policy.
Accuracy
The app's output is only as good as what you put in. We do not verify your entries, and we are not responsible for the consequences of figures that were entered wrongly, incompletely or late.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, or that belongs to someone else without their permission.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, or work around its security.
- Do not use automated systems to scrape or overload the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — the CSV export exists for exactly this.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruckLedger is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost income, lost profit, missed deductions, penalties or lost data, arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
